What was the motivation behind building this website?
How do I verify the creation of my new account?
Check your email account inbox for the verification message, open the message, and follow the instructions in the email to activate your account.
How do I sign in to my account after it has been verified?
Simply go to the www.heavensemail.com website and click on the "Sign In" link on the left-hand menu. Log in using the email address and password you selected when you created your account.
Can I log in to my Heavens's Email account before I have verified my email address?
No, if you log in to www.heavensemail.com before you verify your email address, you will be directed to a page telling you how you to verify your account.
Where does my message go once it has been sent?
Once transmitted, a FM signal heads toward the horizon. The message will degenerate as it travels along just like a normal FM radio station.
What type of encryption is used to scramble the message before it is sent?
- When the message is received by our server, we generate a random secret key and use it to encrypt the message. After encrypting, we throw the secret key away (so that it can't be used to decrypt the message) and store the message in our database awaiting transmission.
- The encrypted message is transmitted to the transmitter site and then erased from the main server (we keep the to, from, and subject parts of the message for a short time after transmission to show in your account details).
- The transmitter site translates the encrypted message to an audio signal representing the contents and broadcasts it via FM transmitter.
- After it finishes transmitting, the remote site deletes its copy of the message and then updates the main server.
What does the message sound like when it is transmitted?
It basically sounds like random static, since it's completely encrypted. If you're using a modern browser, you should be able to play a sample message below. This sample message is fairly long (about 80000 characters) - shorter messages will result in quicker transmissions.

The transmitter and our Information Center is located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Canada
Can I tune my home or vehicle radio to the fm channel being used to transmit the messages and listen in or hear the messages being sent?
No, this is not possible
What happens when I send a message?
Once a message is sent, it is received by our main server and immediately scrambled and put into a queue to be transmitted.

What type of response will I receive once my message has been sent?
Upon the creation of your Heavens Email user account you will be provided with the option to receive notifications that will provide information on the exact time your message was sent.
Will anyone else but me be reading the message I am sending?
No, your message is completely confidential
What are the differences between the Free User account and the paid Yearly Premium Account?

When I purchase a Premium Account, how does it show up on my credit statement?

Is there a limit on the number of free email addresses I can have in my account?
There is no limit; you can have as many free email addresses to send to as you like.
Is there a limit on the number of Premium Account email addresses I can purchase in my account?
There is no limit; you can purchase as many Premium Account addresses to send to as you like.
Can I have free and Premium Account addresses together in my one account?
Yes, each address will be identified as free or Premium under your list of addresses.
How much does each Premium Account email address cost?
Each individual address costs $11.88 plus applicable taxes.
Can anyone send emails to my premium addresses?
No - our system looks at the sender of the message and matches it up with the recipient...that way, multiple people can have recipients called "John Smith", and it sends to the correct one depending on the sender address.
Can I add other sending addresses to my premium recipients?
Yes - you can add up to 5 recognized sending addresses to each premium recipient. Just go to the Manage Recipients page, click on the Premium Recipient, and click "Add Sender". Add your work email, your handheld, or even other family members who would like to send messages.

Yes you can, if you would like to purchase a Premium Account with a cheque simply email our support@heavensemail.com email address with information on your location and (if applicable) we will calculate the potential tax you will need to include in the final total.
